like bear tracks in dirt
your body
like mine, no.
never like mine
left-right
a madness darkened
by a hollow beach
seeing you is like
sand waterfalls
a disturbance so unique
so happy to see
that you just can't breathe.
a brick in the road, broken.
we fall through it
changing hazel to reds
and back again
what will we do
now that we have no shade?
will you shake and fold
because you can't hold the cards?
I don't want to find
someone else
to peel the grass off my back.
